01Description

The Poitiers Courthouse (298 magistrates and civil servants), converted from the Jesuit school known as Les Feuillants, brings together under one roof criminal and appeal courts, civil and commercial courts and ombudsmen. The project includes: - the complete restoration of the building known as Les Feuillants where all the service and administrative functions of the courts are housed, - the creation of new courtrooms in an extension to the existing listed building. The whole is conceived on a single level, such that different functions can be kept independent, and appropriate separations can be maintained as required.
