01Description

The project is to create a 220-bed long-stay hospital, along with outpatient and medical services, to be built in 6 phases on an occupied site. The hospital is unenclosed, and in the centre of the town, often used by pedestrians as a short cut. Reception, cafeteria and other services are arranged around a central street. A particular requirement is for en-suite bathrooms with natural light. The whole is organised to be light and welcoming.
