01Description

Conversion of a 18th century manor house into a museum, which will house a collection of small and medium sized paintings from the 15th century to the 19th century centred around Georges de la Tour's "Saint Jean Baptiste au Désert." One floor will be devoted to the history of de la Tour's home town of Vic sur Seille, from the roman period to the 18th century. The architectural work must take account of the varied nature of the collection and the character of the building to create a coherent visitor experience.
