01Description

Conversion of the Hotel Gaillard (listed historic monument built in 1882) and the adjoining Hotel Berger to house the future Musée-Cité de l’Economie et de la Monnaie (Museum of Economics and Currency) whose remit is to educate the public in money and the economy. The museum will include spaces for permanent and temporary exhibits, a 120-seat lecture theatre, a library, classrooms, a cafeteria, a shop, etc. Within the shell of this historic building, the museum will establish a dynamic, interactive experience, using the same information technology that revolutionized the economy at the turn of the 21st century, to create a revolutionary museum experience.
